Youthworks Mission Trip 2017

July is mission trip time at Hope Community Church! This year, we took 12 youth group teens down to Raleigh, NC to participate in a mission trip with an organization called Youthworks. In past years, we have participated in several other Youthworks trips as they specialize in Missions Trips for all types of groups. During our trip we were able to serve as counselors in kids camps, work with a Parks and Rec department on various projects in the city, visit with and organize games at a home for seniors, and we assisted at a school for mentally challenged adults varying in ages from 18-60+. It was a week filled with fun, laughter, tears, and most of all, service in the name of our Lord!
