Baptism at Hope

If you have decided to follow Jesus and you are ready to take the next step and get baptized, we want to celebrate with you!

Baptism is going public about your faith in Jesus and communicating to the world your heartfelt commitment to follow Him. Baptism doesn’t save a person. It’s a symbol and celebration of salvation. We go under the water as a sign that our old life, our life without God is finished and buried with Christ. We come up out of the water as a sign that we are rising up to a brand new life in Christ, and that’s worth celebrating!

Guidelines for Baptisms at Hope:

  • You understand and believe the gospel
  • You have decided to follow Jesus
  • You are ready to share your story!

Before each person gets baptized, they write out their story and meet one-on-one with an elder or pastor to talk it through. We want anyone getting baptized to be confident in what baptism means and why they are choosing it for themselves. This is especially true for children. If you have any questions, be sure to check out the Baptism FAQ.

Our next baptism celebration is August 5, 2018 at Carson Simpson Farm. Sign up below and a member of our team will follow up with you!
